The Zapotec art popularly known as alebrijes de Oaxaca was born in the state of Oaxaca - Mexico.
These unique works are made there and have become authentic collectors' items, desired and admired throughout the world.
These works, made of copal wood and painted with acrylics, are made by hand in the entire carving, drying and painting process, with a production time of many months.
They are pieces carved in a piece of copal wood, designed with Zapotec glyphs and fretwork.
